1. On Thursday 3 rd August 2006, Thursday 10 th August 2006, Thursday 17 th August 2006, Thursday 24 th August 2006 and Thursday 31 st August 2006, (the " Promotional Days "), Skype users from the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden , and Poland (the "Participating Countries ") shall be entitled to receive a gift of approximately 20 minutes of SkypeOut calls (the "Gift").
To qualify for this promotion (the "Summer Thursdays Promotion " or "Promotion "), you must have downloaded the Skype software, you must have a valid and active user name and account in one of the Participating Countries and you must be resident of that same Participating Country ("Participant").
To participate in the Summer Thursdays Promotion you need to access www.skype.com or Skype's local websites (e.g. www.skype.fr ). For the Promotion to be redeemed you will need to click on the 'Get 20 Free Minutes Now' banner and follow the relevant instructions. Once the Promotion has been successfully redeemed a monetary amount will be added onto the Skype Credit balance of the Participant.
The monetary amount provided is equivalent to approximately 20 minutes worth of calls with SkypeOut to a destination charged at the SkypeOut Global Rate. The value added onto the balance depends on the base currency of the Skype Credit account prior to the redemption of the discount as described in this table:

2. The Summer Thursdays Promotion shall be available for at least 8 hours on 5 different Promotional Days in every Participating Country. The Summer Thursdays will be set out between Aug 3 rd 2006 at 00H 01 and August 31 st 2006 at 23H59 (the " Promotional Period ").
3. Only one Gift per Participant and per Summer Thursday will be provided within the Promotional Period and Skype reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the Participants. Participants with several accounts are eligible to receive only one Gift per Promotional Day.
4. Skype reserves the right to suspend, shorten or extend, change or cancel the Promotion at any time.
5. To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, Skype shall not be liable in contract or tort (including negligence) or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the user resulting directly or indirectly from this Promotion.
6. Skype reminds users of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect access to the Promotion or to the Gift.
7. Although Skype will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Summer Thursdays Promotion (" Promotional Material ") is accurate, Skype will not be responsible for any inaccuracies in the Promotional Material.
8. If Skype has suspicions or knowledge that any user has misused the Summer Thursdays Promotion, resold the Gift or been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity relating to the Promotion, Skype reserves the right to exclude any user from the Promotion at any time and at its sole discretion.
9. The laws of England and Wales govern this Promotion. Any services provided under this promotion are subject to both these terms and conditions and Skype's Terms of Service .
