You will need to wait to 72 hours before your free service is activated. You will receive an email that informs you of the need to wait 72 hours for the free calling.
Can I still call UK landlines free when I travel abroad?
No, free calls to UK landlines are available only when you are inside the UK. When you travel abroad, you will be charged normal SkypeOut rates to call UK landlines.
Is this promotion applicable to call forwarding? Can I forward calls I receive on Skype or via my SkypeIn number, free of charge, to a UK landline?
This promotion is not applicable to call forwarding. While you can forward calls you receive via your Skype Name or SkypeIn number to a UK phone number, these will be charged at standard SkypeOut rates.
How long will the promotion last?
You can claim your free calls until 31st December 2006. This means that if you are a UK user and you buy Skype Credit before 31st December, you can make free calls to UK landlines for six months starting from the activation date of your free calls.
