Skype calling now available on Alexa*

Use Alexa to call friends and family on Skype or call mobiles and landlines in up to 150 countries and regions worldwide.

Set up Skype on your Alexa device

1 Set up your Alexa device using the Amazon Alexa App for Android or iOS.

2 Go to Settings > Communication > Skype to link your accounts.

3 Sign in using the same Microsoft account you use on Skype.

For the best calling experience on Alexa, make sure you're using the latest version of Skype.

Ask Alexa to call any of your Skype contacts – no matter what device they’re using. And if the person you’re trying to reach isn’t on Skype, simply read their phone number out loud to call them.
