Skype and firewalls
1. Launch BullGuard firewall (Start > All Programs > BullGuard) software.
2. Select the big yellow “Firewall” button on the left.
3. Click on the “Rules” tab at the top of the screen.
4. Find Skype in the list of applications and click on the dropdown.
5. Change the Policy from “Ask” to “Allow”.
6. Click on the “Overview” tab at the top.
7. Highlight Skype in the list of applications.
8. Make sure the “Block all traffic (Panic Switch)” box is not checked.
Congratulations, you have successfully updated your Bullguard firewall. Restart Skype, it will automatically reconnect (this can take up to two minutes).
If Skype cannot still connect, contact your system administrator or ISP for further assistance.
