- Click on the “Call Ordinary Phones” button and the dial pad will appear in a new window.

- Select the country or region you wish to call from the drop down menu.
- Use the dial pad to enter the phone number or type it directly into the textbox. You do not need to include the country code, Skype will add this automatically.
- Click on the green call button.
The SkypeOut rate for the phone number you have entered will be displayed in the left corner of the dial pad.
You can also place a SkypeOut call by typing the phone number, including country code, into the textbox in the top of the Skype window and hitting return.
How to add a SkypeOut contact to your Contact List
To add a SkypeOut contact to your Contacts List, select the “Add a contact” option from the “Contacts” menu or press the “+” button in the left corner of your Contact List. To add a friend to your Contacts, simply enter a name for the contact, select a country code and enter the number and click “Add number”. Your SkypeOut contacts will be displayed at the end of your Contact List.
SkypeOut conference calls
A conference call can have five participants, and these can be either SkypeOut or Skype users. Each call will be charged separately and each call will appear on your account overview as a separate call. If you have less than one minute credit remaining for one of the calls, at any time in the conference, then this call will drop. Other calls will continue until they, in turn, have less than one minute credit left. There is no additional charge for SkypeOut conference calling; you simply pay for the time used, for each call.
