The more the merrier
It's easy to add people to your contact list.
Add colleagues, clients and business contacts to talk to on Skype. You can even include friends or family who you’d like to check in with during the day. Then you can make free Skype-to-Skype calls, send instant messages and send SMS – and that's just the start.
Easily call your contacts for free wherever they are.
Integrate your email address books with your Skype contact list.
Save phone or mobile numbers for easy calling or SMS messaging.
Search for contacts
It’s easy to check if someone uses Skype. Simply find the Search or Add contact options in Skype, type in the person’s email address or name, then location, and find them in the list of search results. Send them an invitation to be a contact, and if they accept, they’ll automatically be added to your list.
Import contacts from email
Check your email address books for contacts who use Skype. Skype can search MS Outlook®, Gmail™, MSN Hotmail® or your mail account at Yahoo! and match email address to people who have already signed up for Skype. Simply click Tools > Import Contacts from the menu. Follow the instructions to start searching your address books. If you have saved phone numbers in Outlook, Skype can add those, too.
Add people who don't have Skype
Don't limit yourself to just people who already use Skype. Add telephone numbers to your contact list. You can call phone and mobile numbers at cheap rates with SkypeOut™.
Once you have built up your contacts list, you can arrange people into groups so they’re easy to find.
