Choose the problem you're having:

I can’t hear the other person’s voice

If you can’t hear the caller’s voice then the problem is most likely with their microphone or your speakers.

1. Check whether you are able to hear sounds from Skype. Click Tools › Options › Sounds and press the “ Play this sound” button. If you hear Skype playing a sound, then your speakers are working correctly, and the issue is most likely with the other person’s microphone. Ask him/her to follow the steps in the I think there is a problem with my microphone section of this guide.

2. If you don’t hear any sound, then the problem could be at your end. Visit I think there is a problem with my speakers to fix it.
