How to get the best sound quality on Skype calls

Do a soundcheck before you call
The best way to check if your sound quality will be low, medium or high is to run a call quality soundcheck before you make a call. It runs a quick diagnostic on the following things:
- Speakers
- Microphone
- Webcam
- Computer speed (CPU)
- Internet connection
... then gives you an overall rating for how good your call quality’s going to be. It also tells you easy ways to fix the issues it picks up.
In Skype, simply choose a contact and click the Call quality button to the far right of the Call button.
