Sending money with PayPal
Send money with PayPal allows people using Skype to easily send money to each other, using their PayPal account.
To send money you will need the latest version of Skype.
Choose a contact to send money to
Right-click on the Skype contact you want to send money to and select Send Money.
Skype will open a wizard that will guide you through the process. Click Get Started to continue.

If you weren’t online when the alert message was shown, then notification can be found under the Events Tab in the top right corner of Skype. When you click on the Events Tab a message will be displayed advising that you have received payment and need to accept it. Click the highlighted text to accept the payment.
Login
If you have a PayPal account, click Log in now.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, choose the country or region you live in from the selection, and click Next to open the account on PayPal’s secure website.

As a PayPal account holder, after logging in you will be asked for your email address and password.

Payment details
Fill in the required fields by using the drop-down menus provided. Enter an optional message for the recipient and click Next. Sending money is free on PayPal but the recipient may incur a fee to withdraw the payment – check out PayPal fees.

Send money
Review your payment details, edit where necessary and press the Send Money Now button to complete the transaction.

Your Skype contact will receive a Skype alert telling them you have sent them money. To receive the money, they must log into their PayPal account or sign up for a PayPal account if they don’t have one yet. Once the recipient accepts the payment, the money is deposited into their PayPal account. Read how to receive a payment.

- If the recipient does not claim the payment in 30 days, the funds will be returned to your PayPal account. If you funded the payment with a credit card, the funds will be returned to that card.
