You’re now downloading Skype
Run the Skype Setup application
A window will open asking what you want to do with a file called SkypeSetup.msi.
You might see a confirmation message, asking if you’re sure you want to run this software. Click ‘Run’ again.
Follow the Setup Wizard
When the download has finished, the Skype Setup Wizard will appear and guide you through the rest of the installation.
You can choose the standard setup which installs Skype toolbars for MS Outlook and MS Office or custom setup which gives you the option to install the toolbars. The Skype Setup Wizard will appear and guide you through the rest of the installation.
Launch Skype
After the installation has finished, you can open Skype at any time by clicking the icon on your desktop or in your system tray.
What next? Set up Business Control Panel
If you're an administrator for Skype or you will help to manage it in your company, we recommend that you register for the Business Control Panel. It's a free web tool that helps you buy and allocate calling credit to phones and mobiles, online numbers, and access other useful paid features. It will also help you invite your colleagues to join Skype.
